RECIPE: Orange-honey detox

HONEY & CO. AS A DRINK - The sweet snack for in between!

Every knows the feeling: it’s too late for lunch but somehow too early to have dinner. Still, your cravings needs to be satisfied somehow. If you do not want to have a huge meal, it would be best to fulfil them with a drink, right? If that is also tasty and even healthy, the you can no longer feel guilty about snacking.


DRINK: Part 4 of our recipe series

A little honey also give the whole thing a sweet taste and a feeling of well-being. It’s that simple!



What you need:


  • 1 litre of water

  • 1 bunch of mint

  • 1 cinnamon stick

  • 1/2 orange

  • 1/2 tsp honey (liquid)



Preparation:


  1. Peel the oranges and cut them into thin slices.

  2. Then place the slices, together with the mint leaves and the cinnamon stick, in a container.

  3. Then fill it with the water and add the honey.

  4. Then mix the whole thing thoroughly and let it steep for 4 hours.

  5. Finally, ice cubes can be added and the finished drink can be served.
