HONEY & CO. DESSERT - The sweet end to the day!
Every knows the feeling: lunch or dinner was super filling, but you still want more. Or the typical ‚midnight cravings‘ you cannot fall asleep without anyway. Everyone always says you should listen to your body, so why not?
DESSERT: Part 2 of our recipe series
With honey, all the stress and worries before falling asleep can be removed and it gives strength and motivation for the next day. It’s that simple!
What you need:
200g almond flour / coconut flour
140g sunflower margarine
2 tbsp lemon juice
2 teaspoons of baking soda
1/2 tsp cinnamon
First of all, the oven should be preheated to 180 °C and the muffin tray filled with muffin cases.
Then the apples are washed, cut into small cubes and drizzled with the lemon juice.
The eggs are opened in a large bowl and mixed with the honey, cinnamon and a pinch of salt.
The margarine can be melted a bit in a saucepan or in the microwave before it is also added to the second mass.
Gradually, the flour with the baking powder can now be added to the mix, while everything is thoroughly mixed into a dough.
The small pieces of apple are then distributed into the muffin cases before they are filled with the dough.
The tray with the filled muffins is then baked in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes.
Finally, the muffins should be cooled a bit and can then be served.
