RECIPE: Grilled peaches with honey & ice cream

HONEY & CO. DESSERT - The sweet end to the day!

Every knows the feeling: lunch or dinner was super filling, but you still want more. Or the typical ‚midnight cravings‘ you cannot fall asleep without anyway. Everyone always says you should listen to your body, so why not?

DESSERT: Part 1 of our recipe series

With honey, all the stress and worries before falling asleep can be removed and it gives strength and motivation for the next day. It’s that simple!

What you need:

  • 3-4 peaches

  • 100g mascarpone

  • 2 cups of cream

  • 2 cups of honey nut cheerios

  • 1 cup of oatmeal

  • 1 cup of almond milk

  • 1/2 cup of peanuts / cashew nuts

  • 1/2 cup honey

  • 1/2 cup of cinnamon

  • 4 tbsp butter

  • 3 tbsp coconut oil

  • 2 tsp vanilla


  1. Take a large bowl in hand and mix the entire mascarpone with the almond milk in it. Mix this thoroughly with a whisk or hand mixer.

  2. Then the cream, the vanilla and a pinch of salt are added and mixed properly. It is very important that the cream does not become too stiff.

  3. The whole thing is then placed in the freezer for 4-6 hours. Our tip: Ideally overnight so that you don't have to wait too excitedly for it.

  4. The next day or 4-6 hours later, the oven is preheated at 180 °C.

  5. Now a baking sheet can be covered with baking paper and the oatmeal, cherrios and nuts can be spread over it, according on your choice.

  6. Next, take a small saucepan and mix the coconut oil with the butter and honey in it.

  7. As soon as this produces a nice, even liquid, you can remove it from the stove and add vanilla and a little salt.

  8. Now the whole thing is dripped over the cherrios and placed in the oven for 10 minutes.

  9. After 10 minutes, everything is turned over and put in the oven again for another 10 minutes until the oatmeal takes on a beautiful golden color.

  10. The grill is heated to medium heat and coated with oil.

  11. The fruit is mixed with the butter in a bowl and cinnamon is added.

  12. The whole thing is then placed on the grill for 2-3 minutes until light streaks appear on it.

  13. Then the peaches are turned and placed on the grill again for 2-3 minutes.

  14. Finally, the warm fruit can be served on a plate with a large scoop of vanilla mascarpone ice cream and the honey-granola-cherio mix. Finally, of course, a little honey can be dripped onto the whole thing.
