HONEY & CO. AS A DRINK - The sweet snack for in between!
Every knows the feeling: it’s too late for lunch but somehow too early to have dinner. Still, your cravings needs to be satisfied somehow. If you do not want to have a huge meal, it would be best to fulfil them with a drink, right? If that is also tasty and even healthy, the you can no longer feel guilty about snacking.
DRINK: Part 2 of our recipe series
A little honey also give the whole thing a sweet taste and a feeling of well-being. It’s that simple!
What you need:
1 litre of water
4 tea bags green / black tea
2 peaches
1 bunch of mint
3 tbsp honey (liquid)
2 tbsp lemon juice
Preparation:
Place the tea bags of your choice in a container and add the water. Let the whole thing soak with a lid for 2-3 hours.
In the meantime, the peaches can be peeled and cut into small pieces.
After the 2-3 hours, the tea bags are removed and the pieces of peach, with the mint leaves, the lemon juice and the honey are added.
Peel the ginger and add it to the container using a garlic press.
Now the whole thing can be finely chopped with a stabiliser and again be put in the fridge for two hours.
At the end, the finished drink can be enjoyed with ice cubes and other mint leaves.
